15% of Durham residents do not have enough money to buy food and essential items, and nearly 10% live below the poverty line. As food prices and inflation increases, so too does the need.
New Song Church is partnering with Community Care to distribute essential items to those who are in need in our community. 100% of your donation today will go directly toward caring for our neighbours.
We are also looking for essential items. The most import items are, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body wash, Tooth Brush, Tooth Paste, Tampon/Pads and Deodorant. Other needed items are, Hair brushes, Tissue, Lip Balm, Hats, Scarfs, Gloves, Gift Cards, Pillows and easy to wash blankets (not wool).
