James: Controlling the Tongue (3:1-12)

James continues to get right to the point concerning the Christian life. This time he focuses in on the tongue and on how what comes out of our mouthes shows where our hearts are. It’s impossible to tame the tongue and our only hope is the finished work of Jesus on the cross.
